Remote Control Program Facilities

ITT Advanced Engineering & Sciences' Remote Control Program (RCP) maintains a laboratory, a field testing complex and a computing facility. These facilities are cleared for the handling and storage of Top Secret data by the Department of Defense. All members of the staff, including those at other ITT Advanced Engineering & Sciences' office locations and our consultants possess appropriate clearances. Work can also be performed within SCI guidelines and restrictions.

The RCP laboratory has modern test equipment and bench facilities for quick and economical performance of key experiments and hardware repair. The laboratory activities are focused on developing and implementing product improvements as well as new design applications. Experimental testing and feasibility investigations are performed at the component, sub-system, and system level. Because the Remote Control Program also fields its designs, we are uniquely qualified to insure system robustness and reliability.

The laboratory supports electronics system engineering, digital and analog circuit design as well as software simulations. Our Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) facilities allow us to test and simulate our designs prior to constructing any physical hardware. These capabilities result in more efficient engineering efforts.

ITT Advanced Engineering & Sciences maintains a small operational area that is co-located with our design laboratory. This allows us to immediately test new system changes and new vehicle implementations before going to a test location. Successful new implementations and system upgrades are greatly enhanced with this "test before you field" capability.
