ITT installs new building signage in Dumfries, VA.

DUMFRIES, VA., June 15, 2009 – ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) today announced the installation of external ITT building signage at 2525 Pointe Center Court, Dumfries, Va. Previously the building was signed EDO Corporation, a name that has been known for years in Northern Virginia as a systems and services provider for the Department of Defense and other government agencies.

ITT acquired the EDO Corporation in December 2007 and the company’s assets have been fully integrated under ITT’s Defense business. The 9,500 square foot office in Dumfries serves as the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Directorate office space and supports approximately 100 full- and part-time ITT employees.

“The ITT building signage signifies a new chapter for our business,” said Bill Wetzelberger, director of Marine Corps programs for ITT’s Engineering & Professional Services business. “We continue to operate under the same principles of excellence that our customers expect, and are thrilled to be an integral component of ITT and join the ranks of a top 10 U.S. defense contractor.”

For more than 50 years, ITT has helped protect, support and empower the Marine Corps by providing leading-edge defense technologies and services. Today, ITT supports the Marine Corps’ transformation by exploiting emerging technologies and joint warfighting concepts.
